Our new stove! Notice we have also painted and got rid of mirrors (we did that before we even moved in).

Kenny, Jenelle, and Chaizley came to visit Thanksgiving weekend. Rio could NOT figure her out. He was determined to step on her (that is one way he shows affection). It was a fight to save her all weekend!

Kip's white tail! Much more impressive than my white tail!

Uncle Owen and Cousin Corbin came to visit on Sunday morning before meeting. Corbin was stacking the rings and Rio was unstacking the rings.

Rio helping Mom load the dishwasher. Apparently, Rio thinks his graduate meals need to be washed. He doesn't like them much, so maybe he figured they would go away if they went in the dishwasher.

Rio playing with Taco outside. Taco is so patient.....most of the time!

Our final stop was at Grandpa & Grandmas where he was allowed to dump all of the candy on the floor. It was great fun!!!
Dad, Mom, and Little Roo went to "trick-or-treat" downtown. It was perfect for Rio because it was from 4-6 pm. He didn't have a clue what was going on, but once he got ahold of his pumpkin, there was NO WAY he was going to let it go! To top it off, he got a lot of suckers and those are his favorite!!
We're ready to go trick-or-treating!!

Rio won't let me do anything in the kitchen unless he can watch what I am doing. So, we pull up a chair and he "helps" me cook. Baking is the best because he can lick the spatula when I am done with it.

Rio and cousin Corbin opening birthday presents!

Rio turned 1 year on October 1st! He determined right away that the frosting was the best part!
We managed to grow three HUGE watermelon in our garden. This was the biggest and weighed in at 40 lbs! Thank goodness it tasted good. There was a LOT of watermelon to eat!

Fall 2009

Thanks to Uncle Bill, we now have a sprinkler system! As you can see, Rio was a LOT of help that day!!

We're ready to go the the new Splash Pad at the zoo today. We met Julia Townsend and Jaala Nelson and all of their kiddos. It's a concrete pad with all these cool sprinkler things that kids can run through. I wasn't sure if Rio would like it or not, but he loved it (even though the water was freezing). He crawled around, ate leaves (or tried to), examined the cool sprinklers, and watched the other kids. I should have taken some pictures, but didn't think the camera would hold up under the sprinklers. Guess I'll have to take a photographer along with me next time.
We have a new game at our house. It's called driving the flashlight. I turn the flashlight on and Rio pushes it all over the house. I guess he likes watching the light move in front of him.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, wonder who Rio looks like? I just can't quite figure it out.
The entire Willis Williams' family was at Chugwater on Saturday and Sunday. All the kids, daughter-in-laws, and grandkids were present. Rio needed a nap (desparately). Fortunately he found a branch to keep him occupied. Better than him crying his little head off during the picture taking session.

We went to all of Chugwater this year and had a wonderful convention. Rio did much better than expected. We took our 5th wheel trailer (our house for over two years) and it worked out really nice. Cousin Corbin came over to play almost everyday and the two had a lot of fun.

Aunt Orlinda stayed with us for over a week. She showed me how to get inside Dad's fold-up laundry basket. The only problem is that sometimes the thing tries to fold up on me when I am in it. Fortunately Mom always comes to the rescue.

Mom got this bear from Uncle Curt and Aunt LeAnn when she was 5 years old. I have a lot of fun with with him. I attack him with everything I've got.

June

Oh how we LOVE magazines. Good thing Mom needs to throw 99% of the away or I would be in BIG trouble. I just don't understand why Mom won't let me eat the magazines. She's always taking pieces of magazine out of my hands and telling me its yucky.

I am sure there is a way to rotate this picture, but don't have a clue how it is done. Anyway, here is the cool toy from Cousin Corbin without the legs. See, when there aren't any legs, you can get on top of the toy and max the toy out. A is for...B is for...My name is Pooh...Tigger likes...Eeyore is going.....Piglet is....One flower....Can you help.... I'm suprised the thing still works, but it works perfectly. Apparantly it is Rio proof!

Grandpa & Grandma Scheubel have these really cool ceramic bunnies. Rio played by himself on the grass for over an hour. The bunnies were cool and then Dad gave him a pop-can to play with. That was the coolest thing he has seen in awhile!
Dad & Rio at Grandpa & Grandma Schuebel's in Cody Wyoming. We made the trip to Cody for Kory Schuebel's graduation. Rio and I went to Casper on Thursdsay and hung around until Dad got off work Thursday night. Then we journeyed on to Cody. The trip from Casper to Cody was long, but not unbearable (we have a kid that rarely sleeps in the car). It would have been unbearable if we didn't have toys that light up and look really cool in the dark. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

Mom, this thing is fun! I think we need one! This was taken at Elk Mountian. We were there for their small branding.

Cousin Corbin came to visit a few weeks ago and he brought this really cool toy!! We had to take the legs off, however, because Rio kept pulling over on top of him.

Riley & Rio

Grandma worked hard to get this picture to turn out! Riley and Aunt Tonya moved back to Texas on Memorial Day. We had to get one last picture of the two of them before they moved. Rio was thinking that the gator was REALLY cool and that he needed to check EVERYTHING out. Riley was thinking that it is HIS gator and that Rio did NOT need to be grabbing the keys, etc. We all survived and we got the picture we wanted.

Another Blog

I know.....I don't have any blog at all for the first 6 months of Rio's life. Then I e-mail everyone about a blog I've started on Shuttefly and now I am e-mailing you about yet ANOTHER blog. I think the Shutterfly blog is going to be a thing of the past and we are going to focus on this one.

I am going to make an honest effort to keep this thing updated, but I am not making any promises.
